Journal Special Issue
The Scientific Committee of the IWSSIP 2020 will invite a selection of outstanding papers presented at the conference for review and potential publication on a special issue of the International Journal of Innovative Computing and Applications (IJICA). The selected conference papers to become journal manuscripts will have to provide at least 50% new material, compared to the conference paper. They will be double-blind reviewed according to the IJICA's policy, and they will be evaluated based on originality, technical, and research content/depth, correctness, contributions, and readability.
Registration Policy
One full registration must accompany each accepted paper. Each full registration covers a maximum of 2 (two) papers, but a special discount can be applied for more papers (please contact iwssip2020@ic.uff.br).
Failure to register before the deadline will result in a withdrawal of the paper from the conference program and proceedings. Any paper included in the conference program, but not presented at the conference according to the published schedule, will not appear in the official proceedings.
No-Show Policy
No-show papers are defined as papers submitted by authors who subsequently did not present their paper personally or using a pre-recorded video or via live streaming during the conference.
No-show papers that were not withdrawn and were published in the Proceedings must be identified as "No-Show" in the files submitted to IEEE for further publication (IEEE Xplore). No-shows will not be available on IEEE Xplore or other public access IEEE forums. IEEE declare that they maintain no-shows archive.
If you are unable to travel or to submit your presentation by the due date as a result of any difficulty, please, contact the IWSSIP team.
