INSTRUCTIONS
FOR PREPARING YOUR
CAMERA-READY PAPER
1. Your paper must be written in English, carefully checked for correct grammar and spelling.
2. Regular papers should be a maximum of four pages in length, while invited papers should not exceed eight pages. There is an additional page charge for each page over these maximums (see the conference registration form).
3. To format your camera-ready paper correctly, see the Page Layout Guidelines for the A4 (210 ´ 297 m) paper size. All margins are 2 cm. The recommended font is TIMES or similar of basic size 10 point minimum. Your paper must be written in ONE column format.
4. Camera-ready paper should be single-spaced, with a paragraph indentation.
5. Write your paper reference number and the page number lightly, IN PENCIL, on the upper right-hand corners of the backs of the pages (e.g. 087, 1/4). On the back of the last page write (in pencil) the name of the author presenting the paper.
6. The paper should include:
(a) title (10 words maximum length),
(b) authors name(s), affiliation and present address,
(c) abstract (maximum 200 words),
(d) key words (maximum of six),
(e) an introduction, clearly explaining the nature of the
problem, previous work, purpose and contribution of paper,
(f) a conclusion section which should clearly indicate
advantages, limitations and possible applications,
(g) a reference section (see below)
7. References should be indicated
in the text by a number in square brackets, e.g. [ 1] . References
should be numbered in the order cited in the camera-ready paper.
The correct format for references is:
For papers: author, title, journal (in italics),
volume and issue number, year, inclusive pages
Example: [
1] T.C.Hsia, Simple robust schemes for space control of
robot manipulators, Int. J. of Robotics, 9(4), 1994,
167-174.
Books: author, title (in italics), location and
publisher, year
Example: [

8. Tables and pictures must be of high quality. Their titles and captions should be centred.
9. We will NOT accept submission of your camera-ready paper via e-mail.
10. Your camera-ready paper must be submitted with your registration and full payment by April 10th, 1998 for the paper to be published in the IWSSIP'98 Proceedings.

Formulas should NOT be hand-written. Their
numbers should appear on the right side of a page in parenthesis (bold),
10-point size, e.g.

Tables and figures should be labelled with numbers and described by captions. The tables should be headed by the word Table followed by consecutive numbers (e.g. Table 1. Text of the caption, 10 point size). Each table column should be clearly headed and should incorporate the appropriate symbols and units in which the quantities are measured. The SI system should be used. The figures should be followed by the word Figure followed by consecutive numbers (e.g. Figure 1. Text of the figure, 10 point size). All table and figure captions must be centred.
